Postby carneym on Tue Nov 07, 2006 12:23 pm

Guardian Digital is pleased to announce the release of
EnGarde Secure Community 3.0.10 (Version 3.0, Release 10).

EnGarde Secure Linux is an open source Internet platform that provides
services like Web, DNS and email simply and securely while eliminating
the need for time-consuming "hardening" by the user.
EnGarde offers layered security and simplified administration through its
custom browser interface, the WebTool, and maintains a secure and
consistent environment through the unique Guardian Digital
Secure Network.
EnGarde is engineered by Guardian Digital, Inc., innovators in open
source security since 1999, and is supported by the EnGarde community.

New to this release is our SELinux Control Console. This WebTool module
gives you greater control over EnGarde's kernel-level security policies by allowing you to:

* monitor security audit logs
* enable and disable policy enforcement
* download new policies to your server
* trigger a relabeling of the file system

The release also contains our new context-sensitive WebTool help system
and upgrades to many major applications including Apache, Postfix,
and Snort.

time, or are using our LiveCD, you should download this release.

machine using the Guardian Digital Secure Network WebTool module and do not need to download this release.
