Network Card Supported

Postby leoax54 on Thu Apr 01, 2010 3:15 am

I installed Engarde Latest version and my network cards are not detected. Card i am using is Dlink DGE-528T PCI
with Realtek Chip RT8169.

Going through posts i found this card was not supported by engarde, the post was of 2006.
So just wandering if its supported now?
If yes what is module name?
If not can i compile drivers for same on engarde?

If none of above is possible, which Gigabit Network Cards are Supported so i can purchase new ones.

Thanks in adavnce.

It's probably supported, but just missing the proper PCI ID. Have you tried to use the generic Realtek driver?

How old is the card that you have?

We love the Intel cards, but certainly 3com are good and well-supported too.
