Problem with 'semanage' (missing 'seobject')

Postby DarS on Thu Feb 05, 2009 11:49 pm

Hello,
I am trying to learn various aspects of SELinux, including user management. I installed 'semanage' package and wanted to try it. No success:
Code: Select all
[root@XXX] > semanage
                       Traceback (most recent call last):
                         File "/usr/sbin/semanage", line 24, in ?
                            import seobject
                      ImportError: No module named seobject

Am I doing something wrong? Shall I install anything else in order for 'semanage' to work? When I was installing this package, WebTool did not offer any prerequisites for it.
Regards,

An old topic I know but this is still an issue.

Perhaps the package semanage 1.34.15.1 is missing a dependency?
