rkhunter issues

Postby internetworks on Thu Feb 11, 2010 5:52 am

Rootkit Hunter 1.3.2 doesn't seem to work.
[root@server ~]# rkhunter -c
The internationalisation directory does not exist: /var/rkhunter/db/i18n

Is it ok if I try to install the package from http://rkhunter.sourceforge.net/? Will it affect Engarde configuration?

It should work just fine.
However I think you will have to run engarde in permissive mode when you run rkhunter or edit your selinux policy.
Haven't tried that package myself so I don't know for sure.

I've put together an rkhunter package for you:

http://ftp.engardelinux.org/pub/engarde ... el/noarch/

Browse that directory and download the rkhunter package.

Please let me know how it works for you!
