mySQL-Server initial setup root password

Hello, I have tried to search for this but seem to get nothing.

I have a new install of EnGarde Linux with mysql running. I cant seem to find anywhere, what the root password is for the mysql server. I have always used the root account to create users with only the permissions they need.

Can anyone tell me what the root pass should be for a fresh install?

Well duh, its the admin password for the webtool. Now I feel really dumb :-(
