FreeBSD 4.x is EOL http://www.freebsd.org/portmgr/policies_releng_4.html See here for the list of current releases: http://www.freebsd.org/security/#sup

Is there a reason why you can't upgrade to a supported FreeBSD release? Running an EOLed product is not wise, as there may be known security issues without a fix available.

Looks like in_addr_t is not declared in netinet/in.h as it should be.
