[Clamav-users] Big problem (Malformed database) after update to 0.96

It shouldn't happen at all, but it seems to happen more often than one
would expect. It really isn't a big problem (except that mail might
stop flowing for a time:) if you're aware that it can happen, and what
to do about it when it does.
Try moving the malformed database out of the directory it's in to
somewhere safe, then run freshclam manually to fetch a new copy.
I don't know if the developers might be interested to see the
corrupted database to try to figure out what went wrong.
