No, this is not correct at all. I'm not sure what the OP was talking about (besides plugging arklinux on our list ;), but I try my best to keep the images under 650MB.
Here are the official sizes:
$ du -sk engarde-community-3.0.11.*.iso 584592 engarde-community-3.0.11.i686.iso 582400 engarde-community-3.0.11.x86_64.iso
