[EnGarde] Backup question

Hello all.

I have a few questions about the backup part of EnGarde.

When you backup to a file, I managed to discover that the backup is stored in /var/BACKUP. What is the "index-key" file for?

Now, I am trying to get the backup out of the box. I tried FTP but I don't even see the /BACKUP dir in the /var directory. I have to change directory manually by calling the folder's name directly. Is this normal behavior? And then, I can't download the file, I don't have the right to. And I can't change the file attributes of the backup file, even if I am logged as an admin user.

What is the correct way to get the backup file out of the system to store it to a safe place?

Thanks!

Stanislas Elie
