Oh, try running /usr/sbin/config_lids.pl after you upgrade. The inodes have changed so LIDS won't trust them until it's reconfigured.
Do me a favor and run that (in standard) and tell me if it fixes your problem. If it does, I need to issue an update to that advisory.
