I am using SELinux with Ubuntu 9.04 and its pretty friendly, although the directory structure is a bit different and the packages are handled and named differently but its very usable indeed.
Earlier the SELinux networking was very messy (Fedora 5-6 era) but soon I will be working on it again and hope its also as smooth as other SELinux utilities and configurations.
